How Trump is Radicalizing White Men

It’s not that hard to see how domestic terrorists are radicalized in the United States, especially right after an attack. Usually they start after investigators take a serious look at that past, connect the dots an analyze who he knew and where he went. In the case of Casar Sayoc, Jr., 56 who was arrested as the so-called “MagaBomber,” it doesn’t take a forensic psychologist to realize that he was easily manipulated by some of the more extreme parts of the Trump “MAGA” movement.

Now only a day after I started writing this article, we have another mass tragedy, with a White Nationalist killing Jews as they worshipped in Pittsburgh.  Robert Bowers, 46, who was a regular on the Nationalist social media site “GAB” is the suspect in the shooting, which occurred only hours after he said he was going to kill “globalists” who were helping migrants come in from Mexico.

Some will simple blame the election of Donald Trump in 2016 and say that triggered a wave of white Nationalism. That’s unfortunately way too simplistic in my opinion, and there has been a long love affair that the right has had with fringe groups of white supremacists, border vigiantes and the Christian identity movement. Donald Trump may have energized them, but they have always been a very dangerous element of American society.

According to Professor Mary Beth Alier, of New York University who is an expert on radicalization, the process of these white supremists is very similar to how people join ISIS. They are almost all people who have had serious problems in life with long criminal histories and gripe against “others” for their problems.

In America, more and White Christians unfortunately have started to feel this way. They have been used to being “at the top” of the hill with all the advantages, and now feel that “globalists” have caused them from being at the top. They believe that black and brown people, women and non-Christians are hurting them on purpose.

The Alt-Right has really helped with the radicalization of white people – and even have a term for the “awakening” to extremist views.  They don’t call it radicalization but they call it “taking the red pill.” According to them, like in the Matrix, if you take the “red pill” you’re going to open your eyes to the reality of what Jews, Muslims and of course, Liberals are doing to society. They claim you will immediately understand the lies behind multiculturalism and globalism, and realizing the truth of nationalism.

Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign, along with his rallies wasn’t obviously the start of this  — but it helped grow the white nationalist movement faster than every before. We know for a fact that 75% of all non-college educated white men voted for Trump who pushed the idea that they could go back to the world the way it was before “women, liberals and blacks” took away their manhood.

Sayoc and Bowers aren’t the first White Men to be Radicalized in the last few years with the help the MAGA movement. In fact there have been a number of violent threats, attacks and killings linked to Trump supporters in recent years. Here are just a few example:

Scott Leader, 38, and his brother, Steve Leader, 30, attacked a homeless man in Boston they felt was an illegal immigrant, and told the police that “Donald Trump was right.”

On October 14, 2016, the FBI arrested three men all Trump Supporters— Patrick Eugene Stein, Curtis Allen, and Gavin Wright — for plotting a series of bomb attacks in Kansas against the Somali community.

On  January 29, 2017, Alexandre Bissonnette opened fire on worshippers at the Islamic Cultural Center in Quebec City, Canada, killing six of them and wounding 19. Bissonette was obsessed with Trump all over his social media page.

In March 2018, three   members of a far-right militia — Michael Hari, Michael McWhorter, and Joe Morris — were charged in connection with the bombing of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota, on August 5, 2017. McWhorter is alleged to have told an FBI agent that the attack was an attempt “to scare” Muslims “out of the country.”

On August 12, 2017, a car crashed into a crowd of people protesting a neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer. The alleged driver of the car, James Alex Fields Jr.,  was charged with, among other crimes, hit and run and first-degree murder. He was described as being a huge MAGA follower and would ramble on about “building a wall.”

On January 9-10, 2018, 19-year-old Brandon Griesemer made 22 calls to CNN. In four of those calls, the part-time grocery clerk from Novi, Michigan, threatened to kill employees at the network’s Atlanta, Georgia, headquarters.

On the afternoon of February 14, 2018, 19-year-old gunman Nikolas Cruz shot and killed 17 students and staff members at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Cruz was part of a private Instagram group in which he “repeatedly espoused racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic views” and “bragged about writing a letter to President Donald Trump — and receiving a response.”

These are only SOME of the few examples of what is going on in this Country – let’s be honest that it’s not going to stop, especially with Donald Trump at the top of the racist food chain.

Lucy Parsons Project Racists Protest Pakistanian Middle Eastern Cafe in San Fransisco

Looks like the GOP can’t help funding fake “progressive” organizations under the guise of fighting for black rights. What’s the new “cause?” A half dozen white women have been daily protesting a local Middle Eastern Cafe owned by a Manny Yekutiel, a man of Pakistani Jewish Descent whose family fled persecution in Pakistan.

Manny Yekutiel opened his eponymous Manny’s in November, calling the Middle Eastern cafe and restaurant in downtown San Francisco a “civic social gathering space.” His goal for the Mission District eatery was “to create a central, accessible and affordable place to go to become a better informed and more involved citizen,” he told the San Francisco Examiner.

Manny’s has earned praise for hosting talks with speakers on issues ranging from Black Lives Matter to urban sustainability.

But Yekutiel, who is Jewish, is being protested weekly, accused of espousing “racist, Zionist, pro-Israel ideals.” His café has been vandalized and painted with anti-Semitic and anti-Israel slogans over and over again — mainly by White racists.

The only allegation seemingly against him is that he is Jewish. Yekutiel has even said he does not support everything the Israeli government does and disagrees with its treatment of the Palestinians — and has many friends who are Palestinian.

Yekutiel reportedly has met nearly all the requirements of United to Save the Mission, a coalition of more than a dozen neighborhood nonprofits and activist groups. They include bilingual signage and staff, moderate prices (a cup of coffee is $1.75) and food prepared by a nonprofit employing homeless, formerly incarcerated and low-income community members, who earn all the food revenue. Community groups can use the space for free.

Brooklyn District Attorney Drops Charges Against Mother Who Had Child Ripped Away by Police

A video showing NYPD officers violently removing a woman’s one-year-old child from her arms has sparked national outrage — even after NYPD and the Brooklyn DA informed us that they would be not pursuing charges. Additionally, NYPD Commissioner O’Neill has informed the public he is personally looking into the case..

Nyesha Ferguos posted the video to her Facebook page on Friday. It shows 23-year-old Jazmine Headly clinging to her son, Damone, and telling officers they are hurting him as they attempt to yank the child away from her. One officer waves a yellow stun gun at the outraged crowd, which includes children, several of whom are filming on their cell phones.

Headley had reportedly been waiting four hours at a Brooklyn Human Resources Administration (HRA) office to receive daycare reimbursement.
As the office was crowded and there were no seats available, she sat with Damone on the floor.

When she refused to stand, security called the police. The situation quickly escalated. Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams told CBS2 News that “a Taser was used” and that HRA peace officers tried to remove Headley because of what they described as “disorderly conduct towards others and for obstructing the hallway.”

Witnesses disputed this account, saying that there was not enough seating and that security was unnecessarily antagonistic. Ferguson, who posted the video, told the New York Times about her experiences at HRA offices, saying “They’re always rude. They think that people that are poor don’t have nothing, so you can treat them any kind of way.”
Headley was charged with resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child, obstructing governmental administration and trespassing and taken to Rikers Island. On Tuesday morning Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez dropped those charges and released a statement saying, in part, “It is clear to me that this incident should have been handled differently. An HRA officer escalated the situation as Ms. Headley was about to leave the premises, creating an awful scenario of a baby being torn from his mother,”
A GoFundMe page has been set up by the Brooklyn Defenders Service  to offset the costs of childcare.

NRA Lost $55 million in 2017, and Expected to Lose More

According to tax records obtained by The Daily Beast, the NRA reportedly lost a whopping $55 million in income from 2016 to 2017—a devastating downswing for an organization whose public profile has only grown in the gun-loving radiance of the Trump administration. Notably, almost 20 percent of the $98 million dollars taken in by the NRA in 2017 came from a single—and wouldn’t you know it, anonymous—donor.

Also, should be noted the National Rifle Association is doing away with free coffee and water coolers for employees at its Fairfax, Virginia, headquarters — a cost-cutting move that has NRA insiders “freaking out.”

The coffee cutback is the just latest indication that the NRA is hurting for cash.

In May, the gun group sued Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, claiming that his state’s zealous regulatory efforts against its Carry Guard insurance program had cost the NRA “tens of millions of dollars” in lost revenue, legal fees, and other damages. (A federal judge recently ruled that the suit can go forward.)

Additionally, the FBI investigation into their connection to Russia is “on going” and will most likely lead to more legal fees and financial problems.
